Are you struggling to figure out how to balance work, home, kids, relationships, family, finances, and health without driving yourself into the ground?
Do you constantly feel like you’re spread too thin, never doing enough or doing it well enough?
There are 5 myths that I've identified that are prevalent in our lives that cause us to feel this way.
These are the myths of women's leadership that we’ve been told our entire lives that prevent us from increasing our personal and professional impact without sacrificing ourselves in the process.
The problem is that when we internalize these stories, we unknowingly make assumptions that become self-fulfilling prophecies that hold us back.
We believe that motherhood means taking a hit to our career, that leadership requires sacrifice, that we have to “pay our dues,” that structure and hierarchy is necessary, that we can’t be successful without working long hours, or that we can't be considered a leader until we are granted a formal leadership position.
Of course, there are many more than five myths but I’ve selected the five that I believe are most prevalent and important to deconstruct.
I’ve used them to lay out a framework for how you can start to shift the narrative and take a more holistic and non-hierarchical approach to how you think about your own role as a leader.
This is perfect for you if:
